WBDHF provides technologies and services for Dek Hockey players and leagues. These Terms of Use apply to all products and services offered by WBDHF, including but not limited to:

- WBDHF-affiliated events and leagues
By accessing this website, subscribing to our services or participating in our events, you agree to our terms of use. It is strictly forbidden to copy or modify, in whole or in part, the information or the various elements of NBHPA’s services and products.
WBDHF PASSPORT
By creating or renewing your WBDHF passport, you gain the right, for one year (365 days), to participate in WBDHF events and leagues, receive a WBDHF rating, be automatically enrolled in insurance coverage and have access to numerous privileges presented on the WBDHF application.
HOW IS YOUR DATA USED?
Data such as photos, surnames/first names, city of origin are available on your publicly visible player profile. The aim of making this information visible is to enable greater fairness of caliber in WBDHF events. The WBDHF passport makes it easy to identify players, regardless of where they come from in Quebec, and to know their calibre of play.
Some information is hidden from the public, but visible to event organizers, such as your date of birth, e-mail address and telephone number. This information is used, among other things, to inform players and teams when an event or game is cancelled or moved.
We do not sell your personal data to external entities. Some of your data may be shared with third-party partners as part of commercial partnerships in order to offer you discounts with external companies. Shared data may include your first and last name, date of birth, e-mail address and address.
As part of the development of the WBDHF platform and/or application, we hire external consultants who may have access to player information. Confidentiality agreements are signed with these consultants to avoid any problems.
Your photo and name may also be included in publications on the social networks of WBDHF or their affiliated leagues. In addition, by participating in a WBDHF-affiliated event, in-action photos of you may be published on social networks or used in various publicity by WBDHF or their affiliated leagues.
Your bank details are not shared with anyone.
The data is stored on Canadian servers at Rapidnet. If you have any questions or would like to request the removal of your data, please write to [email protected].
WHY DO WE ASK FOR IDENTIFICATION AT REGISTRATION?
To prevent players from registering under false names, we ask for proof of identity to verify that the person registering has not entered a false name or date of birth. The ID is automatically deleted from the WBDHF database once the player’s registration is complete.
COMPLAINTS
If you feel that your data protection rights have been violated, you can file a complaint with the Commission d’accès à l’information (CAI). You can do this by following the instructions on the CAI website: https: //www.cai.gouv.qc.ca/
WITHDRAWAL REQUEST
If you wish to request removal, please email [email protected]. We will remove your profile from our database and terminate your subscription (without refund). However, we will retain your first and last name and game statistics (goals, assists, penalties, goals scored, etc.), as the system needs them to compile team ranking points correctly.
CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY
We reserve the right to modify this privacy policy at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page and, if we consider the changes to be material, we will notify you by e-mail.
